Silver Reign

Brick, New Jersey

Silver Reign was formed in 2016 and is fronted by a talented father/daughter duo. Gene Molino  is a blazing lead guitarist with a flair for the classics and Lorraine Riley is our amazingly talented and beautiful lead singer. Mike Gonnella, a talented multi-instrumentalist, joined the cast, contributing guitar, keys, banjo, harmonica and vocals. Rounding out the lineup are Nick Ferrante on Drums/vocals and Randy Ward on Bass/vocals.

Each member brings years of professional musical knowledge and many miles of gig experience to Silver Reign. Our music is an eclectic combination of timeless classics and modern crowd-pleasers and we abide by a mantra that it's gotta be "As Good or Better" than the original.

GENE MOLINO has been playing guitar for 55 years, sharing the stage with acts such as Mountain, The Allman Bros, Edger Winter, Buddy Miles, Ten Years After, BB King, Dr. John, Joe Walsh, Chuck Berry, Al Cooper, Cactus, and many more. Gene was a member of: The Casinos, Colony, Brass Affair, Jasmine, Essence and Funkin' A. He has gigged all over the tri-state area and beyond, played over 100 weddings and more bars and clubs than he cares to count.

grew up on the basement steps of her parent’s home, listening to her father’s band practice for upcoming weddings and bar gigs. Although she admired her father’s accomplishments and obvious natural talent on the guitar, it was the microphone she longed for. Many nights she went to sleep listening to the harmonies floating up from the basement, studying the intricacies of each note, learning the lyrics of a lifetime of love songs, and appreciating the magic present in all genres of music. In school, she volunteered for all things music, singing in chorus groups and variety shows, until one day she simply asked her father, “Can I sing for you?” Together they took to the basement, this time passing the very step Lorraine grew up on many years ago. Gene picked up his guitar, and Lorraine finally took her place behind the mic. The rest is history. Since then, Lorraine has fronted Funkin A, a local Jersey shore funk band, and most recently SILVER REIGN. Her influences include The Beatles, SWV, Lake Street Dive, Stevie Wonder, the Motown sound, and 60’s soul. She sings for all the little girls who grew up dreaming of their time to sing!
